Terms of Service

OpenGraph.so is owned and operated by Shape Your Brand LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Shape Your Brand," "we," "us"). By creating an account, buying a plan or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Notice. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age to enter a contract where you live.

OpenGraph.so scans websites, previews sharing metadata and uses automated tools, including generative AI, to create Open Graph images, favicons and related suggestions. Your plan gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within its published limits.

You are responsible for your account credentials, information supplied through your account and all activity under it. Keep your details accurate and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

You may not use the service to:

• break the law, commit fraud, impersonate others, send spam or facilitate abuse;
• create illegal content, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive deepfakes, hate or harassment, child exploitation material, malware or instructions intended to cause harm;
• infringe privacy, copyright, trademark or other rights;
• probe, disrupt, overload or bypass security, rate limits, payment controls or content safeguards;
• scrape the service, reverse engineer it, resell access or redistribute it as a competing service without written permission; or
• attempt to jailbreak, manipulate or misuse our models or connected systems.

We may filter or refuse requests, remove or restrict content, investigate misuse and suspend or terminate accounts for a material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations.

You keep your rights in content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, copy and process it only to operate, secure and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for every website, logo, image, prompt and other input you provide.

As between you and us, and to the extent the law allows, you may use generated results for lawful purposes. AI results may resemble existing material, may not be unique and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing results, clearing third-party rights and deciding how to use them.

To report copyright, trademark or other rights concerns, email hello@shapeyourbrand.com with the work, disputed material, its location, your contact details and a good-faith explanation. We may remove material and suspend repeat infringers.

Scans, scores, suggestions and generated results may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. Verify code and output before publishing. The service is not legal, tax, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice and should not be used for those decisions without qualified human review.

Prices, billing frequency, included credits and plan limits are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle's Buyer Terms govern payment, billing, taxes, renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your billing page or Paddle. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid period. Changes to a plan may be prorated as shown during checkout. See our Refund Policy.

Shape Your Brand LLC and its licensors own the service, software, documentation, branding and all related intellectual property, excluding your content. We may improve, change or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free performance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill or business. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us through Paddle during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where they are prohibited or to liability that cannot legally be limited, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You will indemnify Shape Your Brand LLC against third-party claims resulting from your unlawful use, your content or your material breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the service or request account deletion. Deletion permanently removes saved work after the stated processing period, subject to legally required records and backups. It does not automatically create a refund. We may suspend or end access as described above. Clauses that by their nature should survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers and liability limits, remain effective.

"Open Graph" is an open protocol for structured web metadata maintained by the Open Graph community and described at ogp.me. It is not a proprietary product or service of OpenGraph.so.

OpenGraph.so is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, X Corp., LinkedIn Corporation, Google LLC, Slack Technologies, Discord Inc., Apple Inc., or any other platform whose previews may be rendered or described on the site.

Platform names, logos and trade dress shown in preview examples belong to their respective owners and are displayed solely to illustrate how a link preview may appear on that platform. No ownership claim is made over third-party marks.

Florida law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. State and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization or sale. If one term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue.
